Management Responsibility - Clause 5
5.1 'Top Management' is required to provide evidence of its commitment to ensuring that :
- customer requirements are met,
- statutory and regulatory requirements are met, and
- quality objectives are established
5.2 The Client needs to find out what the customer requires of it, and that these requirements are met with the aim of enhancing customer satisfaction
5.3 Quality Policy should be reviewed to ensure that it includes a commitment to continual improvement.
5.4 Planning must include :
- Quality objectives being established at relevant functions and levels. Objectives must be measurable
- Arrangements to ensure these objectives are met,
5.5 The management representative is required to promote awareness of customer requirements throughout the organisation. Additionally, internal communication between various levels within the organisation is required regarding the effectiveness of the client's QMS.
5.6 Management review meetings must include additional information on :
- Customer feedback
- Process performance and product conformity
- Improvement actions
