The clauses of the standard

Product realisation - Clause 7

7.1 The processes needed to realise the product and/or service must be planned and developed. Consideration should be given towards requirements a-d of this clause, particularly the need to determine quality objectives and requirements for the product.

7.2 Customer related processes require that :

- account be taken of statutory and regulatory requirements, and

- effective communication and customer feedback arrangements exist.

7.3 Design and development may, depending upon the Client's scope of activities and application of its QMS, be considered for exclusion.
